Itinerary at a glance 

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

  • Meet & greet upon arrival into Delhi. 
  • Proceed to the hotel 
  • Check in time is 1400 hrs 
  • Overnight at the hotel 

Day 2: Delhi

  • Breakfast at the hotel 
  • Morning explore Old Delhi including a drive past the Red Fort, a visit to Jama Masjid and a cycle rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk. 
  • Afternoon explore New Delhi including Lutyen’s Delhi, government buildings with a photo stop at India Gate, visit Gandhi Smriti Museum & Humayun’s Tomb 
  • Optional Enhancement: Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib & learn about the Sikh religion. Visit the community kitchen and partake in cooking & food distribution activity.  
  • Overnight at the hotel B 

Day 3: Delhi - Agra - Delhi

  • Breakfast at the hotel 
  • Morning in time transfer to the Nizamuddin Train Station for Gatiman Express train to Agra (0810/0950 hours) 
  • In Agra, visit Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.  
  • Optional Enhancement: Visit a marble inlay unit. 
  • Later this afternoon, in time transfer to the Agra railway station for Gatiman Express train back to Delhi (1745/1930 hours). 
  • Meet & greet upon arrival in Delhi & transfer to your hotel. 
  • Overnight at the hotel B 

Day 4: Delhi – Udaipur – Bera (Jawai)

  • Breakfast at the hotel 
  • Transfer to the airport 
  • Fly Delhi / Udaipur  
  • Arrive Udaipur and proceed to your Bera (Jawai) – Approximately 2 ½ - 3 hrs driving time 
  • Enroute visit Ranakpur Jain Temple. 
  • Arrive and proceed to your hotel 
  • Overnight at the hotel B 

Day 5: Bera (Jawai)

  • Early morning depart for a jeep safari through the forest (Approximately 0630 – 0930 hrs) 
  • Return to the hotel for breakfast 
  • After breakfast, visit the Jawai Dam 
  • Continue to visit the Bera Village – home to the Rabari Shepherds 
  • Gain an insight into the life of the villagers 
  • Return to your hotel 
  • Set menu / buffet lunch at the hotel 
  • Afternoon depart for a jeep safari through the forest (Approximately 1600 – 1900 hrs) 
  • Set menu / buffet dinner at the hotel 
  • Overnight at the hotel B, L, D 

Day 6: Bera (Jawai) – Ranakpur – Udaipur

  • Breakfast at the hotel 
  • Drive to Udaipur – Approximately 2 ½ - 3 hrs driving time 
  • Arrive in Udaipur and proceed to the hotel 
  • Continue to explore the city including the City Palace and Jagdish temple. 
  • Special Enhancement: Afternoon enjoy a heritage walk through the city and see the various havelis, clock tower, Mochiwada Bazaar (Shoe Bazaar), vegetable market, the wholesale grain market, spice sellers, local grocery shops, tea shops 
  • Overnight at the hotel B 

Day 7: Udaipur – Mumbai – Diu – Sasan Gir

  • Early this morning proceed to the airport for your flight to Mumbai 
  • Arrive Mumbai and connect on to your flight to Diu 
  • Arrive Diu and proceed for Sasan Gir – Approximately 2 hrs driving time 
  • Arrive and proceed to the hotel 
  • Overnight at the hotel B, D 

Day 8: Sasan Gir

  • Early morning depart for a jeep safari through the forest (Approximately 0600 – 0900 hrs) 
  • Return to the hotel for breakfast 
  • Set menu / buffet lunch at the hotel 
  • Afternoon depart for a jeep safari through the forest (Approximately 1500 – 1800 hrs) 
  • Set menu / buffet dinner at the hotel 
  • Overnight at the hotel

Day 9: Sasan Gir – Diu - Mumbai

  • Breakfast at the hotel 
  • Morning at leisure.  
  • Afternoon drive to Diu – Approximately 2 hrs driving time 
  • Arrive and proceed to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. 
  • Arrive Mumbai and proceed to your hotel. 
  • Overnight at the hotel B 

Day 10: Mumbai

  • Breakfast at the hotel 
  • Morning explore the city with a drive past the University of Mumbai, High Court, Flora Fountain, Victoria Terminus and Crawford Market 
  • Continue down Marine Drive, Malabar Hill and the Jain Temple 
  • Visit the Hanging Gardens, drive past the Tower of Silence and enjoy a photo stop at Dhobi Ghats 
  • Continue on to visit Mani Bhawan and a photo stop at the Gateway of India 
  • Enjoy a ride in a local train and spend some time watching the dabba-wallahs and continue to the dhobi ghats (dabba-wallahs do not work on Holidays & Sundays) 
  • Visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. (Formerly Prince of Wales Museum – closed on Mondays) 
  • Optional Enhancement: Morning excursion to Elephanta Caves (Closed on Mondays).

Day 11: Mumbai – Nagpur – Pench

  • Breakfast at the hotel 
  • Morning proceed to the airport for your flight to Nagpur. 
  • Arrive Napur and proceed for Pench – Approximately 2 hrs driving time

Day 12: Pench

Day 18: Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho

  • Breakfast at the hotel 
  • Morning drive to Khajuraho – Approximately 5 ½ hrs driving time 
  • En route stop for lunch at a local resort 
  • Arrive Khajuraho and proceed to the hotel 
  • Afternoon visit the Western Temple complex including the Kandariya Mahadev Temple and the Lakshman Temple 
  • Continue to the Eastern Temple complex and visit the Parsvanath Temple 
  • Visit the Southern group of temples including the Duladeo Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple  
  • Special Enhancement: Evening witness the Sound and Light Show (1830 / 1930) 
  • Set menu / buffet dinner at the hotel

Day 19: Khajuraho – Jhansi – Delhi

  • Breakfast at the hotel 
  • Proceed to Jhansi – Approximately 175 Kms & 4 hours drive 
  • Arrive Jhansi & connect your Shatabdi Express train to Delhi at 1842 Hours. 
  • Arrive Delhi at 2350 hours and proceed to an airport hotel 
  • Overnight at the hotel B 

Day 20: Depart Delhi

  • Breakfast at the hotel 
  • Check out time is 1200 hrs 
  • Transfer to the airport for your flight to onward destination

Important Information

Visa/Entry Permit

  • All visitors coming to India should have a valid passport and an Indian visa prior to arrival. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your expected date of return from India.
  • Your passport should have at least two blank pages that could be used for stamping by the Immigration Officer. Additionally if you are planning to visit restricted areas like in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands etc., the visa must also include permission to visit these places.
  • Tourist e-Visa (valid for 60 days) is available for more than 150 nationalities, so you can also check if you are eligible for that. e-Visa charges vary between USD 10 – USD 35 depending on the traveling period & duration. If you were planning a longer visit, then a standard six-month tourist visa would be required.

Dos and Don'ts

  • The traditional way of greeting and bidding farewell to anyone is by saying ‘Namaste’.
  • Elders should be treated with respect.
  • Public displays of affection is discouraged, though holding hands is still acceptable.
  • Women in particular should dress modestly and avoid low-cut tops, shorts and skirts above knee-length.
  • Remian conscious & careful of how different gender and relationships may impact interactions.
  • Take photographs of people or objects only after receiving permission.
  • When visiting any religious building or entering an Indian home remove the footwear outside.
  • Only eat food with the right hand as eating with left hand is considered unclean. However, one can use the left hand for holding utensils and cutlery.
  • Feet and shoes are considered dirty so dont step on any person as it is condidered disrespectful.
  • Don’t encourage beggars by giving them money. If you want to help then you can do so by reaching out to approved charities.
  • Most Indians tend to engage in friendly banter and light teasing and it is not a mark of disrespect so you can enjoy a light-hearted sense of humour.
