Itinerary at a glance 

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

  • Arrive New Delhi.
  • Meeting & assistance upon arrival into New Delhi.
  • Transfer to your hotel (Hotel check in time 1400 Hours).
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: New Delhi

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • After breakfast visit Old Delhi’s Jama Masjid mosque, enjoy a bicycle rickshaw ride through the lanes of Old Delhi. Continue your visits with the Raj Ghat.
  • Afternoon visit Qutab Minar & Gurudwara Sri Bangla Sahib.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: New Delhi – Nawalgarh

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • You will drive to Nawalgarh – approximately 257 Kms / 6 hours.
  • Upon arrival check in at the hotel.
  • Afternoon, proceed for a walking tour to see the havelis & frescoes.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Nawalgarh – Bikaner

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • You will drive to Bikaner – approximately 223 Kms / 4 hours.
  • Arrive Bikaner & check in at your hotel.
  • Afternoon visit the camel breeding farm.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Udaipur – Jojawar

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • Morning proceed for city tour of Bikaner.
  • Afternoon you will drive to Jaisalmer – approximately 330 Kms / 6 hours.
  • Upon arrival Jaisalmer, check in at your hotel.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Jaisalmer

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • Morning proceed for city tour which will include a walking tour inside the fort.
  • Afternoon proceed to the sand dunes to witness sunset.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • You will drive to Jodhpur – approximately 222 Kms / 5.30 hours.
  • Upon arrival Jodhpur check in at your hotel.
  • Afternoon proceed for a village safari by Jeeps where in you will visit the weavers village, potters village and the Bishnoi Village. At the Bishnoi Village learn about the greatest green movement in India and meet the Bishnoi tribes who consider it as their religion to protect the local flora & fauna. Participate in the opium ceremony.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Jodhpur

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Morning, visit Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada – the royal cenotaphs.
  • Afternoon, proceed for a walking tour of the local market.
  • Overnight at Hotel

Day 9: Jodhpur – Narlai

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • You will drive to Narlai – approximately 130 Kms / 2.30 hours.
  • Upon arrival at Narlai, check in at your hotel Rawla Narlai.
  • Afternoon, proceed for a walking tour of the village and attend evening ceremony at the local temple.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Narlai – Udaipur

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • You will drive to Udaipur – approximately 127 Kms / 3.30 hours.
  • Enroute you will visit the Jain temples at Ranakpur.
  • Upon arrival at Udaipur, check in at your hotel.
  • Overnight at the hotel

Day 11: Udaipur – Bundi

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • You will drive to Bundi – approximately 264 Kms / 5 hours.
  • Upon arrival at Bundi, check in at Hadoti Palace.
  • Afternoon at leisure for walking around the village & visit the fort.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Bundi – Jaipur

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Morning you will drive to Jaipur – approximately 215 Kms / 4 hours.
  • Upon arrival Jaipur, check in at your hotel.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Jaipur

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • Morning proceed for an excursion to Amber Fort.
  • Afternoon you will visit City palace & its museum and Jantar Mantar – Royal Observatory.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Jaipur – Ramathra

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • Morning you will drive to Ramathra – approximately 148 Kms / 4 hours.
  • Upon arrival Ramathra, check in at your hotel Ramathra Fort.
  • Afternoon proceed for a village trail by jeep.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: Ramathra – Agra

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • Morning proceed for a walking tour of the Ramathra Village.
  • Afternoon you will drive to Agra – approximately 205 Kms / 5 hours.
  • Upon arrival Agra, check in at your hotel.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16: Agra

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • Morning you will visit Taj Mahal (Taj Mahal closed on Fridays).
  • Afternoon visit Agra Fort & Itmad-ud-daullah.
  • Overnight at the hotel

Day 17: Agra – New Delhi

  • Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
  • Morning you will drive to New Delhi – approximately 204 Kms / 4 hours.
  • Upon arrival Delhi, in time transfer to the international airport for your flight to onward destination.

Important Information

Visa/Entry Permit

All visitors coming to India should have a valid passport and an Indian visa prior to arrival. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your expected date of return from India.

Your passport should have at least two blank pages that could be used for stamping by the Immigration Officer. Additionally if you are planning to visit restricted areas like in Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands etc., the visa must also include permission to visit these places.

Tourist e-Visa (valid for 60 days) is available for more than 150 nationalities, so you can also check if you are eligible for that. e-Visa charges vary between USD 10 – USD 35 depending on the traveling period & duration. If you were planning a longer visit, then a standard six-month tourist visa would be required.

Dos and Don'ts

  • The traditional way of greeting and bidding farewell to anyone is by saying ‘Namaste’.
  • Elders should be treated with respect.
  • Public displays of affection is discouraged, though holding hands is still acceptable.
  • Women in particular should dress modestly and avoid low-cut tops, shorts and skirts above knee-length.
  • Remian conscious & careful of how different gender and relationships may impact interactions.
  • Take photographs of people or objects only after receiving permission.
  • When visiting any religious building or entering an Indian home remove the footwear outside.
  • Only eat food with the right hand as eating with left hand is considered unclean. However, one can use the left hand for holding utensils and cutlery.
  • Feet and shoes are considered dirty so dont step on any person as it is condidered disrespectful.
  • Don’t encourage beggars by giving them money. If you want to help then you can do so by reaching out to approved charities.
  • Most Indians tend to engage in friendly banter and light teasing and it is not a mark of disrespect so you can enjoy a light-hearted sense of humour.
